1. How do I know if a product contains steroids?

If a product is not labeled as steroid-free, then check the list of active ingredients. The most commonly found over-the-counter steroid ingredient is hydrocortisone. Products containing steroids are sometimes called topical corticosteroids. If you are not sure whether a product contains steroids, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

2. Can I use Sarna® Sensitive Anti-Itch Lotion to relieve itching associated with insect bites,
poison ivy/oak/sumac, and sunburn?

Yes; however, Sarna® Original Anti-Itch Lotion is specifically designed to relieve itching associated with these types of skin conditions. Please go to the Products section to see which Sarna® product is ideal for your situation.

3. Why is Sarna® Sensitive Anti-Itch Lotion fragrance-free?
